Congratulations to SCA Member Cities for their efforts in recycling! The Washington State Recycling Association (WSRA) will highlight outstanding recycling achievements May 14. Out of fourteen awards, nine were awarded to King County cities, haulers, schools and businesses.

o Jeanette Brizendine, City of Federal Way Recycling Project Manager received the Individual Recycler of the Year Award.

o The City of Shoreline was awarded the Public Agency Recycler of the Year award.

o The City of Issaquah was awarded the Innovative Recycler of the Year award.
